It took a long long long ass time but I finally made it through this monstrosity of a movie. I sat down to the movie depicting one of my favorite books of all time. The story itself was pretty accurate to the book, with a pretty outstanding cast of actors and actresses. The characters were pretty believable and the action was accurate, but the movie didn't really capture the darkness and mystique of the book. King captured evil incarnate (Randall Flagg) like no other, it's something he excels at, but this movie cheapened Flagg's look with cheesy special effects and a corny ass mullet.
