This movie is touching and sad yet uplifting and optimistic. While it isn't a cinematic masterpiece, it is definitely well worth watching. It kept me entertained and hopeful for the protagonist the entire ride. This movie captures the high school atmosphere more accurately than most high school dramas I feel, keeping the cliquish feel while not overdoing it and shoving it in our faces. It also incorporates an aspect of faith, but subtly and positively, not blatantly and garishly, which I very much appreciate. It is worth watching so do it!
